'mkconfig' is a build configuration utility, It is written in portable shell script and designed to be extensible for any configuration use. It has been tested with ash, dash, mksh, pdksh, AIX sh, HP-UX sh, Solaris sh, Tru64 sh, ksh 88 & 93, and bash 2, 3, 4 & 5.

It currently has configuration tools for the shell environment, the C language and the D language (including the D/C language interface).
